It was only a few years ago that if you had said, hey Eddie, what is your favorite store in the whole world? I would have said, it is none of your business but if you must know it is Bestbuy , or maybe Dick’s sporting goods.
Me and my wife just celebrated our 1 year anniversary as homeowners and I must say I am singing a very different song these days.Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse is now my most favoritest store in the whole world. Did you know that they have all of your home improvement needs under one roof. I could probably spend an entire Saturday just looking at all the stuff that I know I will one day need.
As a homeowner I have become a bit of a handyman. It is odd how for 27 years all that I needed to get by was a hammer and a couple of screwdrivers. This is no longer true. I am now working on a very respectable tool collection. Every project brings to light new tools that I must have to properly complete the task. All this is made possible by my local Lowe’s center.
thank you Lowe’s, I will see you tomorrow, I need some weather stripping.
New Years Resolutions…

I though that I would do something different and post about my New Year’s Resolutions.In the year of 2006 I vow to quit smoking, quit biting my finger nails, get down to and stay at around 190lbs.
I also will be blogging more often, though that is not a difficult task considering I have not posted one thing in 2 months. I will read more, take more photographs, and become more proficient in carpentry. I am also going to hone my general handyman skills.

The Original Totino’s Party Pizza. Do I need to say anymore?
I am married now but these were the staple food item
at the casa de bachelor for many, many years. I just popped one in the oven and in 9 to 11 minutes I was eating authentic Italian food and at only $1.25 per pizza I was eating like a king on a paupers budget. On occasion I will have one if the wife is unavailable to fix me a gourmet meal. It helps me to keep in touch with my roots.
BATMAN BEGINS

Since Batman’s resurrection as a major-motion-picture in 1989, the capped crusader origin has been largely unexplored. Enter Batman Begins. Avoiding the campiness of Batman films past, this epic follows angry and confused billionaire Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) from his parents death to League of Shadows combat training in Asia and back to Gotham City. Lined with dry humor, the film addresses questions of corporate greed, the vulnerability of the world’s biggest city and why Bruce Wayne would take on the persona of a crime fighting bat in the first place. The borderline, all-star cast is fantastic, most notable being Gotham City herself. Director Christopher Nolan has darkly and masterfully set up the ground work for new franchise.
